| This facility opened a second eighteen hole course in 1999, the River Course, to give it thirty-six holes. The River Course is links in design, with considerably more water affecting play than the original Island Course. The signature hole is #12, a 344-yard, par 4, which has water that runs down the entire left side of the dogleg left fairway. A bunker guards the right side of the fairway. Golfers have the option of using a driver to carry the bunker, or an iron to lay up short. The front nine on the Island Course is a links-style design and the back nine is traditional in design. The course has greens and tree-lined fairways. |
